I adore San Francisco. I have been to LA, New York and Chicago but in mind none hold a candle to San Francsico. It is gorgeous and (relatively) clean. There are great restaurants and bars and TONS of shopping. And I totally lucked out that it is just over an hour away from where I live. Even so I really don’t go there often enough.
Fortunately my parents have a week planned in the city with some relatives. Since they got Sunday night we were able to meet them for dinner. And to make the most of it Mark and I spent the day in San Francisco. We didn’t have anything in particular to do so we were free to sit at a coffee shop and people watch for a few hours and then walk around and window shop.
And I got a chance to practice my mediocre photography skills. [Beware lots of random photos to follow]

The mall just looks cool. Vintage Fair in Modesto just is not the same.

I guess everything is a bit taller in San Francisco.

Sweet little shops staffed by grumpy old men - who are still nice enough to let me play photo happy tourist in their store.

I wish all public transportation was designed in fun colors.

SFFD. (This one is for Mark)

I know that Coffee Bean is not terribly San Francisco unique but I love it and there is not one anywhere near Ripon so we did our people watching there.

Love! Wish there were flowers stalls everywhere.

One day Mark and I will own a pair of these...
