Summer in northern California means tons of days in the 90s and for sure some days topping 100. And my little office heats up like an oven since it used to be the garage before someone several renters ago decided it would make a better bedroom, and as such has nothing but a trickle coming out of the air conditioning unit. I spend a large part of the day drinking tons of water and trying to stay cool.
On a whim Mark and I discovered the cure to any heat wave. And it is Ben & Jerry’s Stephen Colbert Americone Dream ice cream. I have zero idea why Stephen Colbert even has an ice cream named after him. But it is so delicious that I really don’t care. Lately Mark and I are wary of spending anything extra since everything is supposed to go to the house. But this is worth shelling out exorbitant amounts of money for delicious refreshment. I am obsessed.
I love San Francisco. And a perfect end to our day in the city was to head over to Sausalito to meet my parents for dinner. Continued photo montage!
